TAG Heuer is iconic brand that is synonymous with time pieces, but phones, now that’s a different story. However, the watch manufacturer has plans for a high end, virtually indestructible phone called the LINK.

It will ship with Android 2.2 and sport a 3.5-inch touchscreen covered in that ultra tough Gorilla Glass we saw at CES. Storage is just 256MBs, but it does ship with an 8GB microSD card, which of course can be upgraded to 32GB if you so choose. The camera capture 5 megapixel photos and we assume 720p video.

TAG says that the phone is virtually impregnable to water/dust and damage from drops, though we’re skeptical until someone takes this thing to the gun range, or a derivation there of.
